Announcing Show Where You Go Contest Winners

Recently we hosted a contest called Show Where You Go, which was a great opportunity for us to connect with people and take a peek into their mobile and on-the-go lifestyles. People have busy lives, and that can mean finding yourself at work in some unorthodox spaces. We asked people to upload photos of their mobile lifestyles, and where they work, or where they might work if they were as mobile as they wanted to be. Each entry was then voted on, with the winners being chosen by the most votes received.

We loved sorting through all of the creative entries, and we’re happy to announce our Grand Prize Winner, along with our two runners up.

With 2235 votes, Vicki Howell from Bedford, Texas is our Grand Prize Winner! Her photo from high atop Machu Picchu was stunning enough to take home our highest prize.

In her own words, Vicki shared with us the following:

“Being able to GO anywhere, I went. I often travel alone. And, as a retired airline crew member, I can and do GO as often as possible. It is a major part of my life and something that I love to share with you.”

Our first runner up is Brian Milican from Issaquah, WA (and his adorable son!).

Lastly, our second runner up is Kelsey Thomas from Chapel Hill, with her gorgeous Savannah landscape.

The Grand Prize Winner’s “On The Go” Pack includes:

Asus Eee Slate EP121 preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium
Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse
• 500 GB portable hard drive
• Office 2010 Home and Student
• Timbuk2 Messenger Bag

Our runners up will receive a prize package containing:

Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse
Wireless Arc Keyboard
Microsoft LifeCam Cinema HD Webcam

Thanks to everyone who participated by either entering or voting! We had such a great time enjoying your creativity and hope you did too. Stay tuned for more contests coming up from the Microsoft Hardware team.
