I have a Microsoft Wired keyboard 600 (model# 1366) and it doesn't feature a plastic symbol specifying what type of plastic it is made out of.

My friend has a Microsoft explorer mouse (forget exact model) and he's now looking to buy a wooden mouse with back & forward buttons but can't find one, because the Microsoft mouse is clearly leaching chemicals (the surface changes from matte to shiny) from the surface under the warm and moist condition of the hand.

I think it's safe to say that Microsoft hardware products are not safe to use and aren't recyclable either since they don't feature the recycling symbol.

Personally I'm not really looking for wooden mouses but if you can make one from a ceramic or glass that could be interesting, provided it was suitable for heavy use and gaming and price was under $40. I think this is very much doable, the glass/ceramic surface needs to be just millimeters thick to keep the weight down.

Would it be too much to ask for some devices that use Bluetooth? I know that you can get better accuracy with a proprietary wireless dongle, but quite frankly I don't care, I'm not going to waste one of my few laptop USB ports with that.

If the Touch Mouse or Arc Touch Mouse had a Bluetooth variant, then I'd have one by now. The latter would especially be perfect for my laptop travel bag.
