Special Editions: Adding Color to Your Everyday Life

I know a lot of friends and colleagues that love using color to express themselves.  Color has a way of reflecting self-expression and personalization, it can make a statement. Lately we’ve seen this color trend move beyond traditional fashion and accessories categories into consumer electronics. People care a lot about the accessories they use every day, and mice are no exception.  If you’re like me, consider how much time you spend using your mouse each day – you take it with you for work, or school or even home use.  Why not have your mouse show a part of your personality, just like your t-shirt or your bag?

It’s funny to see how my friends outside of my job respond to the special edition colored mice that I work on every day.  I show them some new colors or patterns and they have a really emotional response.  Whether they like the colors or designs at first glance, they always elicit an emotional response.  Usually they get excited and say, “I’ve never thought about a mouse looking so cool.”

We here at Microsoft Hardware have a team that specializes in color and design forecasting that looks forward to trends on the horizon. Since we know the colors that will be popular, we can translate them to our tech products and ensure that they’re relevant for a particular season. And the new special edition colored mice coming soon really do look cool – check out the latest hues for this holiday season, available online and on store shelves now!
